About
Hello there!
I am an art teacher at Value Schools in Los Angeles, holding a degree in Entertainment Arts (Animation and Illustration) from California State Fullerton, alongside a teaching credential. With a rich teaching background spanning over 18 years and a focus on grades 7 through 12, I've imparted knowledge in a diverse range of digital media courses, including Animation, Illustration, Graphic Design, Intro to Media, Digital Photography, and Video Production. Beyond teaching, I thrive as a freelance artist, adept at both traditional drawing and painting, as well as digital art. This dual identity enables me to bridge the worlds of education and professional art, allowing me to specialize not only in nurturing students' creativity but also in creating my own artwork exhibited in galleries and personal projects.
Central to my teaching journey is my website, www.mrsonartclass.com, where I proudly showcase the exceptional work of my students from classes like Fine Art, Illustration, Digital Photo, Graphic Design, and Game Development. This digital platform serves as a canvas for their innovative and unexpected projects, demonstrating their unleashed creative potential. Through hard work and dedication, my students inspire one another by achieving remarkable accomplishments. Each year, I diligently assess class lectures, tutorials, and projects to continually enhance students' creativity and design skills. Your interest is greatly appreciated, and I welcome any inquiries you may have regarding my journey as an art educator.
